London Collections: Men is around the corner and we get a chance to celebrate the best British brands and designers. Look of the Week is an all British affair this week, illustrated by an amazing new illustrator, Margarita Zhdanova. Margarita studies fashion theory and history, in Saint Petersburg. As well as being a great illustrator, she studies the history of fashion illustration, inspired mainly by Japanese watercolours.
British designers and brands are some of the strongest in the world at the moment. The suit featured in this post, styled by me, is from Vivienne Westwood. The Madras suit is a beautiful navy suit with a distinctive tartan design. Savile Row tailors, Kilgour who launch their new flagship store during LC:M are the creators of the cotton poplin shirt which is available from Mr Porter. The bold, printed pocket square is from new brand, Lord Dotte, who have a great selection of silk pocket squares on their website. Completing the tonal blue theme are a pair of suede and leather brogues from Dune, available at Topman.
